Netbooks

Time past by, waiting for my net-book to arrive. I sat on my chair and looked straight ahead so that I could see what was happening.

"Yes!" I squealed “Ofa,Shoosh!”yelled Miss.Gleeson. Finally I have my very own net-book to myself, but the only thing that scares me a lot is that you don't have any privacy.
Suddenly I saw something so unexpected...GAMES!!
I thought the net books were for work no fun.

There was so much to do I couldn't choose, so I went on one of the games just to get me started. Meanwhile the technicians asked me to hurry along and to do my job. Sadly I said good-bye to my precious tool, I did not want to let go, so I closed my eyes and walked away. "Poor little thing" I whispered to myself.

Prayer to Jesus

Lord, you washed away my sins in water. As I celebrate your death and resurrection, renew your gift of life within me. Help me to use all the virtues that you used when you were on Earth. Increase my mind and heart and the risen life we share with you, Jesus, may you help me be like you one day.

Run for your life!

When the time had come to get ready for the Athletics, I rushed into the rest room to get changed. Bumped into a few people,pushing and shoving. I put some paint on my legs to show what team I’m in. Now I had to find a way out. It wasn’t that easy. The ten year old finished there race I was so pumped up. Finally, the time has come to beat the rest of the girls that are my age.(Or not) We made our way to the field. I felt my legs shaking already. “Get your marks,” yelled Mr. Gaffney “ Get set, GO!” Off I ran. FIRST, FIRST,FIRST, those words repeated over and over again in my head. Then “Yes, I made it” I whispered to myself. Finally Mrs. Pole said into the microphone, “ Eleven year old please make your way to the field for the ten hundred metre race.” I raced to Mr Gaffney and got ready as usual on every Athletics. When Mr. Gaffney clapped the blocks together, I had to run past Meli. She was a pretty fast girl. But I ran with all my might to run faster than her. I had made it again, one more to go and I can get my promised treat from my brother. Now for the eight hundred metres, if I make this one again I will be so proud of myself. Coming first in the eight hundred metres two times, first last year now this year. The first round I had to save my breath for the last run around the field, just like my brother told me to. Elizabeth was in the lead, if she was jogging her way to the finish line that was when I had to run real fast like I’m in the Olympics. I made it. Elizabeth congratulated me, I felt proud. So I did the same thing. Once I had finished the eight hundred metre, Mr. Coakley walked up to me and asked if I would want to do the four hundred metre. When my brother left, I just went for it. (I was doing it for fun) Emelia came first out of all the girls, luckily my brother didn’t see that. If he saw me win every race, I would get a treat. But he didn’t see come fourth in the four hundred metre. The relays for the senior syndicate, all you have to do is run up and down until everyone in your group had a turn. My group, Keas, won against Geckos and Tuis won against Kiwis. Tuis and Keas had to battle each other to see who wins. Keas were in the lead, suddenly we made one mistake at the end, which made Tuis in the lead. Poni had to run again, but we just sat down. We didn’t know that one of our group members didn’t have a turn. Mr. Coakley yelled out that it was a tie,because Tuis and Keas were arguing. Everybody won. At last everyone went home, I was so sloppy that I walked home like a old woman.

2010 Reflection

Can't Say Good-bye

Eyes watery, hands sweaty as I sat down next to Jorina, watching the Yr 8’s walk up the isle. The girls looking beautiful as ever, so did the boys looking as handsome as possible. As everyone was still standing I couldn’t keep my eyes off of the Yr 8’s, it felt like they were going to disappear straight after mass. I tried to keep my head up high to comfort the people around me.

It was now communion “Can you blow my eyes?” I cried to Robertanna to help me stop from sobbing. After Eucharist was the liturgical dance, everyone had a frown on their faces, as they were so sad.

Now the candle had been given to the 2011 leader, which is...... ROBERT KALOLO. Seeing Robert cry made me want to do the same thing.
The Yr 8’s had now left the church to the open world. I went to some upset people and congratulated them for they have graduated Intermedate and were now moving on to college.

The first single from it, "Forever", was released in May 2008.

‘Exclusive’ has been certified Platinum by the RIAA.

The third studio album, titled ‘Graffiti’, was released on December 15, 2009.

The first official single was "I Can Transform Ya", featuring Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz.

Chris Brown has been featured on several hits such as "No Air", a duet with singer Jordin Sparks, "Shortie like Mine" with the rapper Bow Wow and "Shawty Get Loose" along with Lil Mama and T-Pain.

Last but not least....

“Yeah 3x” was released as the album's lead single in October 2010 and has received positive reviews.

Chris Brown announced his next single, "Look at Me Now," featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes. Chris Brown has also been working with Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, and Pitbull.

We had a script that we had to make into a movie. This was a lot of fun. We also had the opportunity to use our new IT equipment and our new Mac computer, which was great. I hope you enjoy our movie.
