Now this piece of work is a little comic about a young boy who says that there is something in his tummy. It is really an untrue thing but fun to look at,
Ofa, Sometimes 'untrue but fun' poems and stories can be quite wonderful to read. They can be especially funny when you read them aloud! Sometimes if I have been reading something serious and true like an autobiography, I find the most silly and nonsensical poems I can and read them to my own children, just to have some fun :)
If you want to read more, Dr Seuss, Michael Rosen and Spike Milligan are other authors that write fabulous nonsense poetry.
